Space Afrika and Dead Air Records are proud to present a special screening of Opera Omnia, followed by a Q&A and signing at FACT Liverpool on 29 September, celebrating the release of Space Afrika’s new album Quiet Storm on Dais Records.
Directed by Valentin Noujaïm and shot on 35mm and 16mm film, Opera Omnia is a bold arthouse film inspired by Dante’s Inferno. Following the night journey of two young Black boys through the abandoned industrial spaces of Manchester, the film unfolds through the haunting melodies and soundscapes of Space Afrika.
Following the screening, Dead Air Records will be in conversation with Space Afrika about the film and the making of Quiet Storm, followed by an audience Q&A and signing.
