Returning to Soup, we invite Yushh to arm the controls downstairs in the northern quarter basement. A mainstay within Bristol and reaching far beyond, Yushh’s clean-cut percussion and bass-forward approach has cemented her place within the UK Bass diaspora.
Her releases on labels Timedance, Tectonic, Wisdom Teeth and Subglow demonstrate an affinity for unbounded sub-pressure and spacey, atmospheric boldness across a range of tempos.
Yushh is joined by Gina, Crop resident and boss of forward-thinking club night Lucid Juice. The pair shared a spot on a poster together for Lucid Juice back in 2024. Over 2 years later, they linkup again for Coven’s mid-winter venture in the elusive Soup basement.
